Not an actual patient.

Fred

Diagnosis: Schizophrenia  Age: 33

Fred enjoys spending time with his family and loves music. He works part time in a grocery store.

Medical History

  • Diagnosed with schizophrenia
  • History of multiple hospitalizations since diagnosis

Current Presentation

  • Currently prescribed an oral antipsychotic
  • Recent reemergence of schizophrenia symptoms such as auditory hallucinations which makes him appear anxious

Treatment Consideration

  • Fred’s mother, Susan, has expressed concern with Fred’s recent reemergence of symptoms
  • Susan is unsure whether Fred is sticking to his oral antipsychotic regimen
What could once-every-two-months ABILIFY ASIMTUFII® (aripiprazole) or once-monthly ABILIFY MAINTENA® (aripiprazole) mean for Fred?

I’m worried about Fred’s symptoms getting worse. I’ve seen him there before, and it was a very emotional experience for all of us. Lately, he hasn’t seemed motivated to stick to his routine, and I can’t always be there to make sure he’s taking his daily medication.
